The process involves ongoing collaboration, starting with initial interviews to understand the leader's philosophy, goals, target audience, and key messages. There's an ongoing dialogue to stay updated on current thoughts and priorities. There's writing, drafting and editing by the ghostwriter, ensuring the tone and style match the leader's voice. Once a piece is ready to go after reviews and feedback, the ghostwriter will post the content online, optimising it with SEO language and monitoring the analytics and comments. The longer you work with a CEO or founder as their ghostwriter, the more efficient both parties become. The ghostwriter gets exponentially more productive because they know how the CEO thinks, what they will find interesting in the news, how to ask thoughtful questions that prompt interesting answers and how to repurpose existing work in multiple ways.
